Are we there yet?
Yeah, I know. We are
still here. But as of tomorrow we will be galivanting across the world getting up to all kinds of mischief!
Bags are packed (well almost... Lukey. Need I say more?), monies are ready to be spent, and bikinis, thermals and other clothe-things are ready to be worn at all spectrums of weather.
To be honest, if I have to answer one more question about where we are going, when we are leaving and where our first destination will be, I think (to use Lukey's terminology) I am going to vomit.
I'm ready to answer the "How was it?", "Did you have a good time?", and "Are you going to go back?" questions now.
Woo. No seriously. Woo.
We will miss y'all (not really, but I should say it)!!!
A side trip to 21 Birthday Lane...
Just a quick post to say had the
BEST time at my (and Jeff's) 21st! Thanks for the birthday wishes, gifts etc y'all! Definately good times.
Only five more working days for me and 10 for Lukey! Less than three week and we are off! Starting to get
VERY excited! Yeeoop! However, I suspect that next week is going to be a very long week. Sigh. But I'm totally looking forward to those farwell drinks next friday believe you me! And I'm pretty sure Luke is excited about his farewell drinks. Yeah, he would.
We've got two tickets to bird flu...
So it's less than a month of work left for both of us now. Two weeks for me and three weeks (haha!) for Lukey! To be honest I'm still in denial. Since I'm the one who organised everything (yes EVERYTHING), I'm quite over the whole planning of the trip and just want to go on the aforementioned trip. Now. Right now. Almost everything has been organised (by me). We're just waiting for the visas for Viet Nam (apparent-lie this is how Viet Nam is actually spelt. Who knew?!) and Cambodia to get back, then I (yes
I) have to go and get our Filo Visas too. Yeooop then it's all done!
Except for one little thing...
VACCINES. D: I for one am quite scared about getting poked with needles. It's only two (Typhoid and Hep A... gross), but I'm still not looking forward to it. I think we also have to take Malaria tablets and get bird flu tablets and then we're set. Bird flu!!! We are so gonna get it. I can feel it. Just kiddles. I don't really plan on playing with no skanky, diseased birds. But you know there are people in the world who have to do that for a living (not play with them, but work with them.. you know what I mean). Lets have a moments silence for those poor people working with diseased birds. Hurry up and make a vaccine already. Word.
Kay that's all I've got so far. I'll try and get Lukey to add something insightful. Might take awhile though, he's always playing with some fantasy football thing. Bore-ring.
