I've gotta go to the Louvre...
So, we are getting closer and closer to the departure date now (November 29). Resignations have been handed in. Plans are discussed with just about anyone who listens. Cute little backpacks have been purchased ready to be thrown onto baggage carousels around the world. Sigh, excitement is SO underrated! We are both so incredibly excited that it's ridiculously unfair for the poor people around us who are stuck in their boring, meaningless jobs. Awww i'm just keeeeding! But seriously y'all, it's so close I can almost smell it (a bit salty, a bit tropical... then just plain stinky from Lukey's feet... awww not reeeeaallly). We have so many plans for Asia already! Lots of island hoping, cocktails, touring, visiting of reatives and long lost third cousins - you know how it goes.
As for Europe, places and things we hope to see are touristy attractions like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre (yeah, I mean as if you would go to Paris and not see the Louvre), Pompeii, Pisa, the Anne Frank House... oh and there is this place in Spain that we just HAVE to go to, what is it called? Crenada? Grenda? Oh I remember it's GRANADA!!! Yeah, we'll definately be headed there! ;)
To be honest it's just a bit too much to comprehend at the moment. I'm still kinda in denial that we are actually going! It's going to be such a great and fantastic trip! Jealous? It's ok. I understand. I would be too.
